WFXB- Jury deliberations in the Derek Chauvin Trial are set to begin this week and many cities across the U.S. are preparing for protests and civil unrest.
Closing arguments are being delivered today in the trial. In preparation of the official announcement, Minneapolis Public Schools are moving to remote learning beginning Wednesday according to Superintendent Ed Graff.
In a letter sent to students he said “the racism and violence that has been highlighted in these tragic incidents may be widely discussed among some students in our schools.”
