Israel 365 News - 27 Israelis were wounded, one seriously when Arab terrorists in Gaza launched more than 200 rockets at southern Israel on Monday night. The IDF reported that “dozens” of rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system.
The IDF responded to the attacks with the appropriately named “Operation Guardian of the Walls”, striking 130 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist targets in Gaza including two terrorist tunnels, two rocket launchers, two military posts, a Hamas military intel facility, the home of a top Hamas military official, and weapons manufacturing and storage sites.
Six Israelis were injured when an apartment building in Ashkelon was hit. Another apartment in Ashkelon and a house in the Shaar Hanegev region were hit by rockets. Hamas claimed credit for the attack on Ashkelon, saying it would “turn Ashkelon into hell.”
